Not that I wouldn’t want to read fifteen, but writing is what I love the most and therefor it’s also what takes up most of my time. So, with that said, let me introduce my August TBR list.

First up is Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

This is a book I just recently heard of and I am excited to try it out. I haven’t read to much about it since I want to go in with an open mind and discover this world for myself. Hopefully I like it.

One thing I have to mention though is my disappointment when I saw the main characters name. A long time ago, I started a fantasy series that have a main character (an elf hunter) with the name Zeléna (not the same name, but pretty close though), and I’ve been planning to finish that series very soon. I have lived with my character for over sixteen years, and the name feels impossible to change at this point. Is it too close? Does it matter? It wouldn’t have mattered if I had named her Mary or Anna, plenty of people have similar names, so should it matter now?

Oh, well…this will be a question for a later time. Now, I’ll emerge myself into this novel and hopefully I’ll love it. The cover sure looks amazing.

Second book I’ll try to finish this month is A Quest Of Heroes by Morgan Rice

This book is a random find on Amazon, which happened to be free on Kindle, so I downloaded it and started reading. I am not that far in yet, but so far I like it. Hopefully I’ll be able to finish it soon.

It’s an old release, but I kind of liked the premise of the novel so we’ll see what happens. It had gotten very mixed reviews and I might end up being slightly disappointed in the end, but you won’t know for sure unless you try, right?

Lastly on this list is Firefight by Brandon Sanderson

Since I just finished Steelheart, I figured that I should try and jump into the sequel as soon as possible. I do tend to try and read one book at a time though and I feel like starting with something else this month.

Still, I hope I’ll get enough time to finish this one as well. If not, I’ll get to it next month instead.

If the postal service is fast enough to bring me my copy of Progency of Gods by Geoffrey Storm before the end of August, I may try and fit it into this month’s TBR too. I’ll update with reviews as I finish reading.
