Under the weather

About a week ago I unfortunately caught the flu and ended up being stuck in bed for what feels like forever. Haven’t been able to do much for the whole week and all the books on my TBR list are still waiting for me to dig in, but when my eyes couldn’t stay open for more than a few minutes at a time it felt like an impossible task. But finally I’m getting better and I’ve started reading again and in a few days I hope to post a new review here. In the meantime I did sketch out the main character in my newest work in progress, a fantasy novel called Shards of Life (name may change) that I’ve been thinking about and plotting for over ten years. Finally I’ve decided to really make it happen. So I sketched the main character by hand with a pen and paper, and considering I’m a crappy artist I knew I would never be happy with just the hand made drawing. The drawing ended up looking rather funny and the eyes were set too close, the face was too narrow, the nose was too small and yeah, it didn’t look that good….
